I think the turbo ones make as much as 180-some hp. Yes, it is an impressive car that most people don't appreciate as much as the S13s.

I say for the first mod you pull that motor and drop a newer dohc ca18det, or a dreaded fj20det....

good idea apexi240, i like s12's too, but then i already said that, they are very rare, i see a girl on campus drive one around, stock paint still shiny and no rust visible, must have low miles, they look so cool from the front *drool*

Kinda looks like an AE86, boxy, but looks are the easiest thing to improve (it already looks alright).

RS-X's are rare as hell. I have only seen one here in Yokohama and it was about 4 years ago. Old man driving it looked like he was the original owner.

We exchanged glances as we passed each other. I think he was surprised to see an American admiring his car, and I'm pretty sure he knew that I recognized what it had under the hood. That big azz scoop is a dead give-away.

Nodded to each other as we passed. That car looked like it had just rolled off the assembly line.......I'd have given my CA18DET S13 and a nut for it.....

I prefer the 3 door with the flip up lights in the S12 body. Looks just like a Trueno 3 door, but with more balls....

The late S12's came with the CA18DET, but the intake system was set up like an RB20DET, where it ran across the top of the motor.

A common swap has always been to drop a S13 CA18DET or the few that are still on the road will more than likely have an SR20DET in them.

Don't hate man, don't hate : )....it's an ugly fading blue color and the car runs REALLLLY strong for it's mileage....only problem is it needs a new battery (whoa..!)....otherwise, I love the dang thing!Still needs to be insured though, can't drive it around just yet...

.....unless I go on a late night "drifting run"....heh heh......
