Depends. I think the sil-80 look is super duper flupper gay. Just me though. the coupe conversion is hot though. I personally like the S15 look on the hatches, but 2000 or more for it is kinda steep and unwarranted unles ALL your motor work is odne. Just my .02 cents

NIIIICE! I like the blue, much different blue than you see on most, very close the the OEM dark blue that came on s13. Although I would like to see a different aftermarket bumper on your car, that would top it off, or even a OEM Aero bumper would be nice.

i think the silvias would look great wit maybe a BoMex front end ....they did wonders for the skyline!!! Dont get me wrong. I like the 240 but its not as tough lookin as the overseas front ends.

cyris the extremely open center section leads me to believe it is a blitz bumper.. or the same bumper blitz would use on their car???

I'm probably wrong but thats my guess. Also I think it'd look nice. You know.. they may have just taken a nismo 400R bumper and worked it on there.. I believe Gary from Mckinney did somthing like that with a skyline bumper.

I think the stock silvia K's bumper on the Sil80 i posted is hot sexy, im just not a fan of bumpers with openings big enough to eat my dog. But then again im not a fan of having things in excess on cars, for example: please explane to me the need to spend over $1000 to have a microwave sized front mount intercooler capable of handling 600+hp on a car putting down less than 250-300hp? I dunno, whatever floats your boat...

I would only do the fmic only cause thats the main thing that can help anyone get alot of extra horses. besides having yer engine baleance blueprinted and all the extra stuff. I have no clue who could do all the extra engine crap out here in the midwest for a decent price. i still want to go forged on a rb25. Im still reading up on that stuff. I wannt get close to 400 horses.

BUT I still wanna do the silvia front end with a diff bumper.

Jspec...did u put anything else on yer car like anything done to the rear end or is it all 240sx back there? I see the sideskirts. It looks great.

I dont think that pic is of J-Specs car. He's got a coupe...

I used to favor the hatch over the coupe until I saw the silvia front end on a coupe. Now I dont think I would even buy a hatchback.

Hatch still has a much nicer shape damn you don't hate! But anyways...

I am getting M-sport front and rear wide fenders and installing my R32 GTR tail lights. If anyone gives a rip.

but I think the Silvia conversion looks really nice.. not ricey or whatever you were worried about. GO FOR IT.

That is MY car thank you very much. It is now flat black with a vertex style front bumper. I will post pics once I get the car back from doing the swap.

Are you trying to mirror the car in SCC? I think your car looked pretty sweet in Blue. I was very tempted to flat black my RX-7 TII, but figured i would screw it up.

Anyway, your car looked sweet, and will probably still look good flat black. Hell, it would probably look good hot pink.

That blue was hawt! Why would you ever go to flat black from that color? Don't get me wrong I love flat black but that blue is better. Your car looks good man congrats!

BTW, was that blue made from a factory paint code or was it a custom mix?

CHALKBOARD PAINTJOBS ARE BECOMING EVER SO POPULAR NOW.

I'M GOING TO DO MINE SOON AND I THINK A CHALKBOARD SIL80 IF DONE RIGHT LOOKS SO SWEET!

Going by my name here on the forum, it makes you wonder if I like the sileighty. I might actually be doing the conversion sooner than I thought for radiator reasons. Might try and move the soon to be KOYO radiator foward some to allow more clearance between it and the motor (headlight motors get in the way with the popup style). We will see.

I do agree that some of the front end openings on the market are too big, but these big openings do allow for better engine cooling.
