I've noticed something strange after doing the Silvia frontend conversion on my 240SX. The fenders are much wider and higher than the fenders that I removed. My question is...does anyone know the specs on the stock Silvia fenders? What Millimeters are they...50mm, 30mm or something else? I was going to swap out the rear quarter panels anyway because they are damaged but now I need to know what size to match them to the Silvia fenders on the front.

No no, that's not a color crisis. My car was a color crisis.

Anyway, easiest way to find out what MM you should have your rear, is to measure the distance from your tire to the silvia fender, then measure the distance from your rear tire to the rear fender, then take the difference, that's what you want.

Then there are ppl who like wider fronts/back - personal preference.

are the 2 bolts in the door jamb (between fender and door hinge) properly bolted down? I ghetto rigged mine with zip ties when I first installed them, and the fenders stuck out a bit. After I properly bolted them down, they sit flush.

The bottoms dont sit flush on mine either. I noticed the front lower bolt on the driver's fender is like 2 inches away from the chasis. Oh well.

Nah, I bolted down the passenger side fender which is flush. I went back and fixed the drivers side later.
