Silvia body for R/C car

I found a Silvia body for my r/c car and was trying to think of what color I should paint it. I want it to look good of course so I figure I'd make this poll to help me decide on it. I have a few colors listed and "Other" in case there's a color that you might like to add in. What color would look best?

I'd go with some kind of color scheme, perhaps make a NICO car

the bodies are pretty cheap right? like 20 30 bucks a pop?

Yeah, somewhere between 20 and 30. Thats a pretty good idea on the color scheme.

I painted my silvia r/c body the same Aztec Red as my 93 coupe:)

I even got the paint from Nissan! (touch up bottles) so it matches my carexactly:D

where'd you guys get em from, i saw a link a while back but i cant find it now, is that the one you guys got?

as far as the color, if i get one i was thinking like a gunmetal-ish color, the same color i painted my rims:) , or maybe like a dark metallic blue, if you go to like a model shop you can find all kinds of shade and tints of every color

hey did anyone see the new small RC thingy from radio shock? they started advertising them in magazines like super street. I was thinking about buying a few things to start building them.

drsilvia usually has some cool lexan bodies on eBay.. thats where I got mine from:)

I'm getting the Silvia body from HobbyTown (here in SC) and its $25.00. I'll get couple pics of my car when I get it finished. Right now I want it to be good running r/c and then work on the body.

I've been wanting to build an electric car for a long time, a nitro would be cool too though as well as an airplane, I'd so manage to crash that into my balls some how...

I need to rob a bank or marry Bill Gates or something...

i have a Tamiya TL-01 chassis with some stuff . i have an HPI S15 silvia body painted black. the car kit came with white wheels and they look pretty good so i kept them. i'll try and take pics too.

I had a Tamiya TL01 AWD Rally Car (came with an escort WRC body) with a dark green r34 skyline but I sold the car to my neighbor...

I recently aquired a Cen SP1 2WD because I wanted to try out a gas powered RWD car... I got the chassis and remote control stuff from someone off NICO for $100, with no motor... I'm still trying to find a motor, so I have yet to run it, but the Silvia body looks sweet:)

I have a Kyosho V one RR with Novarossi mt12 engine. I'm trying to sell it cause I want to buy an s13. anyone know someone that wants to buy it? want to try to get $200

Well, my r/c sort of died on me. Me and Mark were playing with it and too a bad hit into the corner of the wall and cracked the chasis. This happened a few weeks after I made this thread. I got a TL01 AWD with Mustang body. (still learning about it)

I had bought a new speed controller and battery for it which is on Mark's Traxxas. For now I'm just going to rebuild mine then do bodies afterwards. I re-fixed the mustang body while back. It use to be Mark's but instead he gave it to me to have one. I'll try to get pics of mine up.

There's this one I've been looking at and have on my xmas list which is like a buggy called Evader I seen at hobby town.

evader is made by duratrax. duratrax is kind of like the obx of rc. it does its thing, but is cheap. better buggies out there would be the losi and associated. those are more like the hks and apexi of r/c.. if that makes sense

I'm wanting something to play with til I get my rc car back together. I've seen other prices of some but I'm looking at affordable and good for a little while.

i have the tl-01. how bad is the chassis. if you replace it, you can get the ultra light version for like $24. also, if you want a good buggy, go with the new kyosho. dont know the name but i think its blue.
