I think it would look nice next to the cherry red rear lights our cars have.

In Japan the 240sx was called a Silvia but had a SR20DET or SR20DETT (I forget). The older SE-R sentra's had an SR20DE that some people turbo'd....
You're both right; the Altima Coupe did shed two doors from the sedan to give the Accord Coupe some competition in sales. While robbing the Accord Coupe of it’s riches with the Altima Coupe; its main purpose was apparently a marketing test mule for the Silvia/240SX's return to the North American market’s, but the economy went to crap globally and as far as I know the Silvia plans have been put on hold. Due to this the Altima Coupe might make it to a second generation; I just hope Nissan doesn't mock our cars and make a convertible version when it comes time for the next gen's. As for re-badging your A/C as a Silvia: No; it maybe a stepping stone for a return of the Silvia, but it's not a Silvia even if it becomes the closest thing we see again to another Silvia.DAAN. wrote:and here I was thinking that it came from the sedan that shed 2 doors over night to steal Accord coupe's sales : )
Makes sense I suppose. The thing is, and I'm not taking credit, but I thought about doing an SE-R badge before I saw other people do it, but I didn't mod my car yet when I first got it. Then I saw everyone else do it. I just love the Silvia and thought it would be cool to badge the altima coupe that, since the badge looks so cool. But I've convinced myself not to do it now. As for the SE-R badge now, I don't know. Yes, it's the same motor but I wouldn't badge it SE-R unless I had the same power output or near the same power output of an SE-R. Putting a badge on a stock car imho (and most people at least in my area agree) is straight up lame.Unfkwthabl wrote:I actually think with the way your thinkin tht an se-r badge would be most appropriate due to the fact that 2.5 altimas arent equipped with sr20 or ka motors. The qr motor does come in a se-r version but is found in a sentra from what i believe. Since 3.5 owners put se-r badges to momorialize the VQ motor i dont see why the 2.5 owners shouldnt be able to memorialize the se-r badge on the QR motor.
Good April Fools joke come to think of it.dangeris wrote:I'd put a Ford badge on it!:
