I think a limited run of high end NA models. This is only hearsay though...either way, don't worry too much about it because nothing great came on the cars so it don't affect us.

For what the badges represent? probably to someone whos really in the know.

But I like how they look, and if you like them go for it.

Well most JDM insignia would br "stupid" on your 240SX, but the large majority of this board would tend to disagree. What, with their infatuation with bastardized "sil-40-gtr-via" misnomers even thought it always was, and always will be a 240. Put what you want on your car, just don't be a tool about it.

well im not trying to make my car something its not. i totally agree, my car will always be a 240sx. as long as its LHD and has a KA24 in it. i am working on turbocharging my KA24DE and im not trying to make it japanese, but i just saw the badges and they seem like a nice touch since its not something that you see at all really.

I see the badges on cars kind of regularly, and your car could be a center seating position race car with an RB30DETTR and it would still be a 240.

If Bart see's this thread, maybe he'd be ncie enough to post up some pics of his car. I think he has the K's symbols but they look generally the same and on a white car, look kinda snazzy.

I don't think there is such a thing as an "As". I've been in Japan for ten years aand have never seen one and my stack of sourcebooks list no such animal. If it was a true spec I would guess it was some Autech package.

Well, I know J/Q/K means Jack Queen King.

Maybe some dealer got the cute idea in his head to put a package on a few Silvias he needed to sell (like the Autech one madscientist said) and labeled it 'A's' for Ace.

Really limited production. s13 chasis NA sr. This was discussed on FA in depth. I don't frequent that board much anymore. It is kinda ghey. The A's badge that looks like an ace of spades with an almighty on it goes on the fender where the usual k's and q's badges go. I think the almighty badges look hot, too bad they don't mean anything cool. Ooooh ahhhhhh na sr. I say you can put what ever you want on your car as long as it is from the same kind of car. ie not gtr badges on a 240 or on a mustang. Stupid ricer crap like that pisses me off.

i just saw one on ebay and i think it would look kind of cool to put it right in the middle of the tail on an s14 where that common round nissan symbol is.

i got one on the hood of my fb, it makes it look like an old school supra. courtesynissan.com has them once in a while, i think it looks better than the silvia badges or a K's badge

My favorite is still the "S on a shield" one for the S14. I would like to put that on my hood. I know I drive an S13 fastback, so it isn't perfectly appropriate. I just like how it fits the 240SX, like the Z's have their 'Z' logo on the hood.

How does a JDM s14 Silvia badge fit on a USDM RMS13 240sx

Yeah an no JDM Silvia badges on a USDM 240sx! Stupid ricer crap like that pisses me off too.

Funny how people love to cherry pick whatever is at their convinience.

Actually the point made was that it is permissible, or in laymans terms, not exactly rice if you put a silvia badge on a 240. or a GT-R badge on a GT-4 or GTS-25T

he's saying no skyline badges on a 240 or on mustangs or probes etc. That's just stretching it a bit far.

what are you guys? the emlem nazi's? who cares. if you think it looks nice, go for it. its not like your putting chrome 20's and a gigantic cf wing on your hood.

If you had a 300zx, you would have to watch out for the wheel police. Dang directional wheels!

I meant that I feel that S14 Silvia badge aesthetically matches the USDM S cars, S13 or S14.

I know it doesn't match technically, but I think it looks good. It's not garish or gaudy, but a small subtle touch that flows well with the rest of the car.
