Jay,

Wow man, it looks gorgeous. Damn! I might wanna get the same set up later.

How's the offset? Are you getting any rubbing?

You've been dealing with this for 2 months or so, now it's time to enjoy. You know look back after you've parked and walked away. Yeah!!

Yep time for specs... That looks GREAT..... You just took 10 years off the look of the vehicle.. It hardly looks like theres any fender gap, may just sit a tad higher than my Q.

I didn't have to, but sometimes you have to right click and select "show image" ... worth a shot.

Your Q looks terrific with the OE wheels! Which ones are you running? Any suspension mods?

Earlier today, the photo of GQ jay's Q on the 18 inchers compelled me to send that pic in an email to a few friends and associates.

The subject read "Another fine example of why I love Q Forty Fives!"

IMHO, it's a good candidate for the 2007 NICO Calendar.

Don't you all agree?

Very, very nice!

Reminds me of my 1995 Q45 with the G35 wheels I had on it. Not as nice as these wheels (similar, I think, to my M45 wheels). Are these the Q45 premium wheels or the 2003/4 M wheels?

The G50 looks nice with a F50 OE rims!! The rims came off from '05 Q45 Premium package (18 x 8, 7-spoke). The luxury model use a 17x7.5, 8-spoke.

I was under the inpression that those wheels came off of an FX35. Also I think they are 18x8.

Nice looking Q!

You know how you guys always say people think your G50 is brand new? I never really had that impression, maybe cause I know when they were built.

But this pic totally changed my perspective. Not sure if its the angle or the new wheels or what, but it truely has a commanding presence. The lines and shape create a body thats more appealing than most of these cookie cutter luxury sedans built 15 yrs later. I have finally seen the light!

Those are F50 7 spokes. The FX wheels look similar, but they have 8 spokes.

Both of the above statements are correct.

However.

The 05 Q45 Premium has an available chrome option that are 18x7.5 (According to manufacturer information), 8 spoke wheels. There was also the debut of chrome 18x8 8 spoke wheels for the 04 Q45 Premium that are in circulation.

I don't see why 18x8 wheels would be specified for a vehicle only one year, then to go back to 18x7.5 the next. The folks responsible for Nissan/Infiniti product literature may have just missed it or were not informed of the change.

One example. In the G35 coupe brochures for 2005 and 2006 it lists the stock wheels, front and rear as 17x7.5. But the owners manuals show specs of 17x7.5 +30mm for the front, and 17x8 +33mm rear.

So it's possible that from 2004 on for the Q Premium, all of the chrome factory spec 18" 8-spoke wheels are 8 inches wide. Notwithstanding the Y34 M45 production wheels, chromed aftermarket factory take offs, and replica wheels.

The 20" FX wheels have eight spokes. The 18" 03-05 FX wheels have seven spokes. The offset on both are +40mm.

So it's a safe bet that the 7-spoke 18x8 05 Q45 Premium (non-chrome) and 18x8 03-05 FX35 wheels are one and the same.

Here is my 1995 Q with the 17" G35 wheels I put on it ... a good look, but not as nice as yours!

P.S. These California neighborhoods all look alike, don't they?

ME TOOO!!!!

Like in a big way. I hate double and triple posting with file attachments.

Wes, I know you did it for Jay right above. Also I'm pretty sure it's links from the "photo gallery", however as you can see in my sig I can't make the link show the photo.

How.......do you do it?

What you have to do is right click and hit "copy image location". If your still on the dark side (IE) you have to right click nad hit properties.. Then you copy the link there... in order for the IMG tags to work you have to hav ea .jpg ending.

Go to the photo you want to insert in your web browser, right click on it and select "properties" at the bottom of the drop-down menu. In the Pop up window, highlight the address starting with "http:", in your case http://nissaninfiniticlub.net/photopost ... 03-med.jpg. Once highlighted, right click and select "copy"

When you select the to insert your photo, and the [IMG][/IMG] statement is inserted in the post editor, place your cursor in the middle (between the ] and [), right click and select paste, your images address should be placed there, your image should be visable in the post preview ...and voila!

Hope that helps. Nice looking Q, by the way!
