If you keep up with things you'll know that I'm missing a stinking center cap and having a hard time finding the right replacement. My wheels aren't BBS. I thought they were Fitapaldi wheels, but after a cool NICO brother hooked me up they didn't work out. So, I'm reading the maintenance history I got from an Infiniti dealership and find this:

I see that they're available from tirerack. They look similar to BBS wheels. Here's one. Is this kinda like what you have?

Here's another set of RIAL Silver Wheels. Did you get a wheel name? These are called the "Flair".

*Edit* - No they aren't. I tried to link to the picture that had the RIAL wheels on the Q from Tire Rack, but they didn't take. The wheels that are on the picture are the ones that I have. They look like BBS but say ELITE on the center cap. I've seen other Q's with them so I suspect they were a dealer option.

Sorry.

Where'd ya get that pic? I think those are exactly the wheels I have on my car. I can see my car from my office window, but the wheels are blocked. I'll head to lunch with the picture and check them out for sure.

Yup. Those are exactly my wheels. Now where'd you find that pic? More importantly, does anyone else have any?

If you go to tirerack and shop for wheels by car, and select the option to "see them on the car", that's the standard profile you get for a 90-96 Q45. You can select other color options, etc, but you won't find anymore information on those wheels.

Rial is the wheel manufacturer, so your best bet will either be ebay (less manual) or a salvage yard, looking for a wrecked Q that had the same wheels.

Man, I tell you, those are EXACTLY like the Fittapauldis I have on my 92 Q (first owner installed)! I have been told by tire installers, that they are some of the truest wheels they have ever worked with! BUT, as bad as any wire wheels I ever had on long ago British sports cars to keep clean!

What's it say on your wheel caps? Mine say ELITE.

They are a PITA to clean indeed. I spray them with a wheel cleaning foam, agitate with a brush, and then put the car in the touchless car wash. Afterwards, I still have to wrap a rag around my finger and clean the insides. I've almost broken fingers in there.

See that set screw...mine doesn't have that. I got a set of Fitapaldi center caps from someone and they look exactly that way. Mine just snap in and out.
