btw - the hood is custom.. just cut a hole in it and welded in some support braces to keep the flap from pushing up.

Mmmmmm, turbo powered drifting goodness. Though I've never seriously considered drifting my car, seeing that video sent my mind through all of the nearby office building type spots that I might be able to go practice at. I think I'm too easily influenced by the actions of others, to be watching videos and what not on the internet. :D

Just ask them if it is cool before going nuts with the car.... before we shot that video there was a dude working there, I asked him if it was cool and he said hell yeah.. he said he would enjoy it. Thumbs up from the guy the whole time.

Most guys like to watch motor mayhem..and smokeys...

lol, that is a compliment, right =)

I think the g35 would be great fun! Just drive around and scope the industrial areas of your town/city.. every city on our continent has loading and docking bays for 18 wheelers just like the one I filmed at.

Find it, then go back on an early Sunday morning and it should be empty.

have fun.. that is what its all about =)

I have found one problem with the g35... even after you turn off traction control, it still kicks in.... it's not only annoying, but upsets any drift i attempt to do in it... i suppose it's better that way... i'll stick to my 240 :)

BTW beauty car nils...

thx!

have you tried pulling out the fuse to the ABS/traction control?

I used to do that in my Supra to get rid of traction control and speed limiter... dont know if it applies to the g35.

but, yeah.. take the 240 out in either case... the 240 is so damn neutral handling, I know understand why it is such a popular drift car.

take care,n

It's funny you should say that... my car is actually understeering... it's possibly my rear stb is actually tighter then my front one, perhaps i need to deflate the front tires a little.... i hate understeer....

Put some used, old & super hard tires in the rear and bump up the psi to 40.... put some decent tires (250 treadwear rating or less) up front at 30 psi. If you want to go nuts on it.. give yourself a little toe out in front and lots of negative camber in the rear. LSD does help but not necessary.

That should do it.. I doubt the STB is causing the understeer.
