Silly question

If the engine in my G and my Z are the same engine, why the 8 h.p. difference? I realize there is really no SOTP factor there, but I was wondering what made the difference.

8hp? I see the sedan at 328, the coupe at 330, and the Z at 332. Where did you get 8hp? I was on the nissan & infiniti sites for this info, and got it from there. Not knocking, just curious...

Different exhaust different tuned ECU usually responsible for small amount of HP differences.

Yes, small differences in parts/ecus.

I know the 350z and Pathfinder with 3.5 had a different intake manifold to contribute to the difference of hp/tq (287/260 vs 240/260)

SVT, my first mod is a new stereo...mine SUX!!! As you know, music is 2nd to cars for me. I get major distortion. Have to do something about that.
