While 2 strokes are great on ATVs and boats... not so good for a heavy car. They are wicked torque engines and they are snappy... but they usually lack high end strenght... and they use more gas per cycle. Not to mention... the oil consumption would never allow a street car to pass emissions.

But hey... cool idea!

I almost killed myself on a YZ80 b/c i wasnt used to a 2-storke motor. Thout it was like my Honda XR100R and i had pop the clutch to get a good wheelie, insteed that damn thing put me on my *** an it on its back fender. Needless to say i never rode it again. BTW anyone have a 1985-1990 Honda XR100R for cheap? I killed mine. Dirtbikes not cars Totally off topic sorry

Alright... I thought it was the R that designates the 2 stroke... but it's the C and X that differentiate the two.... thank you for clearing that up! And yeah.... I'd LOVE to have a bike! Never had my own, but ALL of my friends have had a bike or 4-wheeler or two at some point in time, so I've been riding all my life!

Im trying to find another XR100R. It wasnt much on power but it would run all day with no trouble. Well maybe all day would take 3 or 4 spark plugs. It just didnt like the plugs for some reason. I used to carry a 20oz bottle of gas a a few plugs just in case.

Yeah... unless you're a little guy, a 100cc 4 stroke ain't gonna have a lotta getup-n-go!! The most insane ATV I ever got to ride was a Yamaha Blaster 200 2-stroke... the guy had it all hooked up with mods.... it would drop you off the back if you didn't have a death grip on the handlebars. It was so fast and jumpy off the line, it was almost useless... but he raced a CBR 600 and stayed with him to over 60mph! Although... that was only about 3 seconds.
