silicone or gasket on a oil pan?

so im about to drop my oil pan and i wanted to ask what was the best method to seal it back up i had lost oil pressure at the last drift event due to a oil pan leak where the silicone was at and now im wondering waht is the best method to keep it sealed tight? im thinking silicone but im not to sure which kind to use does anyone know waht is the best silicone for the stock SR oil pan?
