I am sick of boost leaks and crap worm clamps ripping my couplers apart. So, I am going to replace all my couplers and clamps that will not dig into the coupler.. Perhaps some T-bolts here and there.

I did not know the exact size of the coupler so basically, I measured the circumference of the pipe and divded it by pi to get the diam and this is what I came up with. The size of the coupler is obviously the ID of the coupler not OD.

Does this seem right?

im not sure exactly what your asking...the coupler size does seem right..i just put a greddy fmic on and i am pretty sure those are the right size couplers..you may just have to have some downtime with this ...pull off your couplers to be sure of the exact sizes and then order your new ones..just to make sure you dont get the wrong size ones...t bolt clamps sound like a good idea...when you put those on you will be sure to not have any boost leaks those things are solid..but just make sure you get good couplers like you said so they dont get ripped up

Yeah that looks right to me..Also if you dont feel like paying $5-$6 for a tbolt clamp...EACH!! A great clamps to use for silicone couplers are the Liner clamps..They are setup like a worm gear clamp but have a thin strip of metal on the inside so the clamps slots they dont bite into...And but much make your new coupler junk. You know...And they cost like half the price of the Tbolt..Just a thought..

Yeah.. I was just wondering if the coupler sizes seemed right. I wish I could really take it off and measure but I can't afford any downtime at all so that's why I measured the OD of the pipe and went this way.

ya the thing that sucks is that if that you order them and they are wrong you are going to have to go through all of the trouble of taking all the couplers off and then putting them back on and then doing it all over again when you get the right ones...maybe you can order a whole bunch of different sizes and just return the wrong sized ones

as a alternative to t bolts if they don't fit in some places you can get these pressed worm drive clamps

http://www.siliconhoses.com/co...c=com

more durable that the typical worm gear clamps.
