I am planning for a long trip from GA to VA during the Christmas break and it seems its going to be a rainy drive. I need new wipers because the stock ones never really worked sufficiently from start and I can't seem to decide if I should go with Bosch Icons that everyone mentioned vs. Silblade from https://secure.eventurestudio....x.cfm .

I've found some reviews on the silblades:http://www.yotatech.com/f2/rev...3149/h ... /silblade/

Leaning towards Silblade now...but what you guys think? Did anybody use one of these. I am guessing the Icon's will about about $45 for the pair and the silblades is running into the $60 zone. Only ones I've used were the rain-x ones and they weren't upto expectations.

Icon's FTW

I have them now - they're hands down the best wipers ever - you will not be dissapointed with them

$60 is not really a territory I'd like to be in when purchasing wipers.

which rain x wipers did you use before? they have a new latitude model that's same as bosch icon and you can buy a set on amazon for $22, $29 shipped that's for both wipers.

My stockers were fine up until now, still ok but could use replaced, made through a lake effect winter and are doing ok so far (winters are a lot less harsh in Pittsburgh)..60 bucks for wipers, wow, I don't spend close to that on an oil change and I use synth...

But I was going to ask the same question, and neither of those would have been options

Now that I think about....$60+ is a bit too much for wiper. Still debating, but after all your replies...I think I am going to drive down to Pepboys to get the Icons after work. ICON WINS!
