This weekend me and my friend sam decided to spray my vert because the old paint was terrible. We built a temp. paint booth that cost all of 40$ Held up pretty good and we didnt die, so yay. We got some paint for a really resonable price at a whole sale store or something. Enjoi.

Here she was in her bad flat black paint state.

Strippin dat hoe

her in the booth. Nice and dent free.

After 3rd coat of black was dry.

After 2nd coat of white.

After she was done, clear coated, and assembled. There are a couple small spots that need to be touched up but im VERY pleased with the out come. I also need the black tape-like trim that goes around the bottom because the line is not strait, because new tape will be going on.

One last pic back at home. Cost me 250$ total. I think it turned out nice. Im ordering new wheels in a couple weeks. let me know what you think

well we started at 730 Friday morning built the booth, had the car stripped, bought, paint and supplies and primered it my 8 that night then we went to the drag strip. The next noting all the paint went on and it was done by 5. And it was a massive compressor.

i figured it was a massive compressor. The small ones are useless if your wanting a good turn out.

Looks good though. What wheels are you looking into?

something cheap to tide me over until my new motor is built and turboed. Like the xxr 513 16x8 with a 0 offset. I can work more since I just graduated so I want to save for some baller wheels. Undecided tho.

if you do it out side spray water all over the ground around the booth and poor listerine around. Water will stop alot of dust and mouth wash helps majorly with bugs.

Wow man you know how to do a silvia conv. right. I'm a fan of 2 tone silvias, adds to highlight the boxiness body lines which i like.
