So after countless days of work swapping in a new motor and 5sp. trans, I Got my car put some what together for the first drive. I drive it around town trying to stay out the polices eyes, it was about 8:15 at night and 40 degrees.I am out for the first time and with the top down. It was a blast.

One quick question while driving the way home, I pressed the clutch down and it stayed there, but I reached down and popped it back up and it fine now. It only did that once.

yeah fill the fluid and bleed it. purchasing a $7 speed bleeder from spl parts makes it a lot easier. Do you run the dampener box? if so you have to bleed it first, and it usually takes a lot of fluid to get the bubbles out if the box gets air in it.

what link? you just fill up the resevoir, put a short piece of hose off the bleeder screw into a jar of brake fluid and get a friend to push down and hold the pedal while you loose the bleeder screw, then tighten it as he/she releases the clutch pedal. repeat until it stops bubbling.
