Well guys I finally was able to get my S13 front end conversion installed I'm a new comer to NICO seems like a awesome place. I bought the conversion for about $530. I got my stuff in prestine condition just needs to be washed etc etc. If anyone was wondering why there is a big gap in the bumper its because thats where the intercooler is going. I already ordered my kouki Tail lights and they will arrive thursday so I'll get pics of that as well. During the installation we encountered a problem with the USDM bumper support aparently its too long so we removed it for the time being until we drill new holes and shave it off an inch to accomadate the length, but as for now its hanging by the fenders which is still fine just droops a little but you cant really notice it. As far as wiring goes most of it is just plug and play except for a few things like fog lights and corner lights. Anyways enjoy the progress. Hopefully within a month I should get rims installed.

For people with the conversion, do you NEED to use the USDM support, or can you install it without it on?

well the problem is the USDM support is to long so it creates a gap between the bumper and fenders, so we need the shave the USDM support down like 1inch in order to fit. I'll post pics of when we go about doing this.

Man that looks beautiful. Nice blue too. Which color are you going to use?

Did you have a hookup to get the parts? If not then where'd you buy from if you don't mind me asking?

you must be using a massive intercooler if you had to hack your bumper up like that. I think if it were me i would have made some cleaner cuts.

im no sil80 expert but, shouldnt there still be a part of the bumper where you say the intercooler is going? or is it so small it needs to be removed?

Good deal, I like it, I get my Sil40 (coupe s13) back from the paint shop today. My bumper had a 1/2" gap between the lights and the top of the bumper, so it's cool that yours fit nearly perfect like that. Good luck, Keep away from Curbs!

wow I didnt think I'd get so many responses so suddenly, to answer questions I got the front end from a shop in Orlando called Speedzone Performance, they dont specialize in front end only motor swaps and wheels, I was lucky to stumble upon these b/c I was looking for intercoolers and saw this guy was selling a intercooler which was 30"x12"x3" and in the description stated he was selling the jdm bumper b/c he was getting new aftermarket parts like bumper, fenders, hood etc etc, so I shoot him a email and he replies stating hes selling his whole front end for $300 picked up so I immediatly jumped on it. As for the gap well you can easily tell its from his massive intercooler and the reason why it was cheap. I'll eventually clean the cuts maybe close them up with fiberglass or bondo. As for the hitting hard part, its actually just a paint scrap the parts are flawless no dents or dings perfect condition other than the gap for the intercooler. I'm gonna repaint the car Jet Black for the awesome glossy look. The camera I used is a Nikon CoolPix 5700 Digital camera with 5mp and 8x optical zoom. The pants are Paintball Junkies Antron pants $80 most comfortable pants with padding all over, heavy though and get hot but still comfortable. Some of the upgrades i'm doing are GP Sports Rear spoiler and Rear Roof spoiler, Brig 17x8 4x114.3 lug 17offset and 2" deep dish for $544 shipped. I just recently installed Kouki Tail lights which pics are being included soon. There is a shop down here in South Florida called Just Japs that sells complete S13 front end conversion for $700 plus shipping http://www.justjapsimports.com/home.htm

Heres a pic of the previous owner with the interccoler. Bad quality but you get the idea of why the big gap.

Well the bumper is pretty trashed, but still $300 for a good hood, fenders and headlights is really really really good.

eh a little fiberglass or bondo, and new intercooler, and a new paintjob and it'll look good. My bro owes me $500 so he might buy a Aero bumper so we'll see.

nah everything is in perfect condition, that day we installed everything the car was missing screws and some wires needed to be extended so thats why the driver corner light was loose and out in the open, but after we installed the kouki lights we extended that corner light and it fits perfect.

I got Stock suspension it feels like im on a boat going over waves LOL, as for the wheels my bro said it should look very nice a stick out a little but almost flush with the body, cause if you see on a side angle my stock ones are kind of inside the body kinda looks weird.
