So I decided it's time to finally post a build thread. I have had the car for three years now I believe. I have had many different plans for the car over the time that I have had it and even been through some pretty rough stages. Here is the build I have planned out for the car. Last Picture is the start of the current tear down as I now have money to this the right way and another car to daily drive so this one can stay out of commission for awhile. Wheels are temp had to have something for my 5 Lug Swap.

It has been completely removed the ka is being pulled finally. Then the shell and body pieces are going in for paint. More tear down pics to come soon. Waiting for my gf to get here with body panels that are in my parents garage in Illinois where I used to live. She went home for thanksgiving so she can grab my stuff. Plans for winter is pull ka, get paint, assemble car, and have stock Sr put in until I finish the built Sr.

I'm missing side skirts and the tail lights. I used to have the tail lights but I thought I was going to be selling my car last year and I ended up keeping it but I had already sold the lights so now I am going to be buying another set. Hopefully my gf just orders them for my birthday since it is pretty close. If not my grandma still sends me a good chunk of money for my birthday so I will be using that for lights or side skirts. Car is tore apart right now anyway. KA is getting ready for removal and most of the body panels are off. Only thing left to pull is doors and hatch off so everything can be painted off the car. It is being painted white and I want it to look like it was originally white. My buddy paints for a living so I'm getting a deal by having him do it. Plus he is teaching me along the way. More pics of tear down and sanding tonight. A lot of pictures are going to be taken from here on out.
