Nothing wrong with the Versa. We loved our 2007 Versa SL Sedan. Got an offer we couldn't refuse!

Late night surfing on vehix.com found a nice car at a great price! After a little negotiating we bought a 2006 BMW 330i 4-door Auto with only 29k miles for ONLY $20k!

We got $9250 for trade-in, which was KBB, and it had 36,500 miles on it.

We'll miss it! Wish you all the best!

Tim

Oh my god! Awesome car, it's a beauty!!!

Maintenance costs may be a tad more expensive though.

Have fun!

tks!

yeah, the wife is ticked about having to buy premium gas now, too!

well, we've got until 4 yrs/50k miles of free maintenance. it had new tires and the brake pads/rotors look great. but the local stealership said out of warranty oil changes are $150 and complete brake jobs are $700, EACH AXLE!!!!!

so, indie shop we will be a going!

good job. make sure you buy the extended maintenance right before the car hits 4 years or 48k miles. that will extend the maintenance by two more years which includes brakes, pads, fluids, inspections, etc. Great car. Got two '05's and neither has been in the shop except for scheduled maintenance. Bought both of them used (1 1/2 years old). Just sold a 1995 that had 170 k on it.

What color is the interior.

so do you go to the dealership to extend the warranty? how much should we expect to pay? can you negotiate?

You can buy an extended warranty from a number of aftermarket providers. Keep in mind the dealership wants to make a commission from the sale of warranties so buying them independently will probably save you money. Just make sure you check out the details. Coverage varies.

I'm not one that would not ever buy a warranty, however. The only reason they sell them is because they're a huge money maker. That tells me that I probably won't be using it.

I am not talking about an extended warranty, but extended maintenance. That can only be bought through the dealership. Around $1500 for a 3 series and it can be negotiated. Shop around dealers. A set of pads and rotors all the way around will use up 2/3 of that. I do not buy the extended warranty.

As you are aware, BMW's have 4 years or 48k free maintenance which does include wear items such as pads and rotors. Extending that by two years financially makes sense as you are getting about a discount on what you would ultimately pay for that maintenance. Fred
