So I just signed up for the HPDE event at Summit Point and redline timeattack.

I am not participating in the TA this time out as I am planning on getting my race car ready for VIR. Is anyone else showing up? either for the HPDE or the TA? I'm looking forward to this because this is my first one.

i would be instructing the NASA event on Main but i have a wedding to attend on that saturday.

I will be comming down for the TA on the second day to say hi to some people, im not interested in participating because i think the competition in general is sort of lame, its a large scale auto-x no actual racing, i will stop there i have many more gripes about the whole thing.

well we just got back, It was a blast. The Shenandoah Circuit ate a few cars this past weekend, including 2 beautiful S2000's and a C6 corvette. Luckily my car made it back in one piece. I had a hell of an instructor and my day was awesomeJoel I wish I could make it back down for when you're teaching. It would be a blast.

Anyway I'm exhausted and I gotta get up early to unload the car and truck.

Yeah, Shenandoah is less "forgiving" than Summit main if you go off. Glad to hear you had a great time. What was your favorite section of the track? Any pics?

I likes the Pistol Grip section I really learned alot about the way my car handles right around there. The Karrusel was fun and I loved coming into the Loop after the back straight.
