I don't know what they're called, but places like AutoZone and Advanced Auto have resistors (I think that's what they are anyway) that are usually next to their LED lights. You need resistors on your wires that go to the signals to slow the blinking.
LEDs are so low powered that the car doesn't acknowledge there's a bulb in the socket, so it blinks fast in the "hey, I've got a dead bulb" mode. These resistors go between the + and - wires of the LEDs to "fake" a real bulb being in the socket. This will stop your fast blinker syndrome.
(Anyone who tells you anything about needing a new flasher fuse or relay that works with LEDs is correct, however, its not necessary if you have the resistors at each signal LED.)
*Someone correct me if "resistors" is the wrong term.
