well what christians were talking about in the mid 90's was the government or a company would invent a microchip that you would implant into your body that would keep finatial info from credit card to bank account.

This microchip is a sign that the beast is comming. In florida, a company has invented a microchip for medicial uses. They can see your insurance,drivers liscense, medical records.

The belief goes back further than the nineties. In fact some great clerics and prophets foretold the day that every human would have such a "description" on their body. Some believed it to be something as simple as a card (thus the premature scare Discover's Blue Card created with the chip inside), some believed it would be barcodes tattooed on every person (as depicted in several movies). Since the mythical and much criticized Illuminati (father to the Freemasons) is supposedly the oldest and most powerful organization in the world, we are to believe they are behind the movement to tag every human. If that's true then would they not be disciples of the beast. Afterall, why would you knowingly bring upon the signals of the apocalypse? It's kind of like the guy in The Seventh Sign going around breaking the seals.

Or...at least...that's what I've heard.

Ever want a real good scare? Read up on Freemasonry (and their close relatives, the Shriners) - and don't let their "good works" fool you.

well think of this for a moment. First we are getting to the point where scientists are understanding cell programming. This only publicly took 5 years.

Now once they figure out how to program cells. They can start making clone body parts or like star treak pop a pill and you get a new lung. They are also talking about microchips that you can plug into your brain.

Then the next and final stage is nanobots injected into your body searching for whatever they were programed to do.

Microchip is nothing compaired to those crazy nanobots.

I was just reading the mexican news paper, that a university in florida made a circuit from rat neurons that was controlling the flight of a plane.

Speaking of Masons, anyone see that preview for "National Treasure" with Nick Cage? They talk about the pyramid and how it leads to a treasure the founding fathers hid, but left it showing on the dollar bill. But, the current dollar bill was designed when F.D.R. was president and it was F.D.R's vice president who suggested the symbol of the eye in the pyramid. (who was a well documented Mason).

There are a LOT of Free Masons in my family. It is something that some of us take pretty seriously. So, I can tell you from first hand experience that it is far from a "cult" or underground secret society. They are very helpful and influencial in their local communities, and aside from all the positive things Hitman mentioned previously, they are an EXCELLENT networking group for businessmen. Enough said about that little issue.

As far the the "sign of the beast", I have heard a lot about this microchip implant thing. It is nothing new. They have been implanting similar devices in house pets for more than a decade. It is believed that at certain levels of military and government intel, it is required. There is no official documentation of this particular "conspiracy", but if it were true, it would make sense.

The theory that I heard was that after Armageddon, money and currency won't exist, and in the chaos the only thing that will allow individuals to buy, sell, trade, or even be allowed into society will be this implant.

It's all very Orwellian and sci-fi... good fodder for entertainment purposes and "wouldn't it be neat if... " type of conversations.

Well being in law enforcment, it wasnt long before I was invited to become a Mason. This I did not do. It was a Mason that got me the job I had at teh time. The whole ritual stuff is a little much for me. But I know quiet a few Masons, and a Shrinner or two. There is absolutly nothing sinister about them. They are good people. The groups may have had some interesting past, and insane members at different points, but I dont see the modern day groups as evil. THey are all upstanding members of society. And alot are public servants, who work to protect all citizens (masons). I know less about the shrinners, but the ones I know are fine people who I trust fully, that spend countless hours doing good for others.

Now back in the day, the Masons were a secret society, and giving information about thier rituals has been taken as far as murder. Or at least that is what the History channel showed, on it program about them. Very interesting. Anyone else see the History of the Free Masons???

Anyway, doom sayers have been saying the end is near for the past two thousand years. And people implanted with micro chips is not just with this financial institution. They have a chip now they implant in to Alzheimers patients to track tehm when they walk off in from thier homes. Which helps out alot, I hate us finding one laying out in the woods dead, because they were too confused to have a clue where they were.

The end will get here when it gets here. If it's in our life time so be it. I am not running from it. If I dont get to go upstairs, and am left behind, then I will just have to deal with it. I hear there's going to be a hell of a war.

People need to stop worring about stuff they can not do anything about. If you are religious, then you know what you need to do, to insure you are not left behind. If you are not religious, then you dont belive this stuff anyway. And the only thing any human knows about the end is it will get here when it ges here. Jesus said he will come like a thief in the night (for us belive the Christain faith). Which ruffly translates into he won't be posting his return on an internet web site, and the evening news to give us a heads up.
