I had this since I got the car, there is an on going oil leak, (leak as in, small sign of oil on top of valve cover). My guess its the valve seals? Does anyone know what it may be? Is it possible it could be the gasket?

where at on top of the valve cover? it may be the filler cap gasket. your valve stem seals are inside the head. theres no possible way it can be those. when those start to go youll see blue smoke coming out of the exhaust.

Take off your valve cover seal and replace both the outer and inner seal...

I took mine off and found that the inner seal was never replaced, It was hard and brittle so oil was seeping up one on the valve cover bolts and getting oil all over my engine.

Yeah, I have the same problem. It's just the gasket, I've just been to lazy to change it.

go get that nissan valve cover gasket....it's normal. Mine has been changed once a year. It's so brittle when you take them off, so get both of them.

that couldnt be anything inside the head, it looks like the filler gasket has gone bad like previously stated. thats wierd.

yikes that looks pretty bad....

Try changing the inner and outer gaskets and see if that helps. They get all hard with age.
