Just have some questions as to how difficult wiring was.

What options did you lose when you did the swap, ie. A/C, powersteering?

What parts are you using, and what is giving you issues?

Cost or parts & labour?

What fuel management system are you using?

What mounts did you use? And how is the fit?

Thanks in advance, i will post more questions in the morning.

1) all of the wiring is repinning the underdash plug that connects the ignition/ecu harness to the main EFI harness. not hard if you can find the wiring diagrams

2) both can be ratained with a little work

3) what do you mean what parts?

4) I was at a little over 4000 when it first ran with the 3" turbo back exhaust. labor was free because i did it

5) Mines ECU with Walboro 255lph pump and nismo adjustable FPR. (the stock ecu with a 255 lph pump will work without an issue

6) stock r33 crossmember and mounts, fit is good except for the hood cutting part.

Ok i have some diagrams from what i could find online, not much though. My contact to getting a FSM from JPN fell through. I'm considering the Apex'i PFC. How much easier does it make my life?

What do i get rid of when i install it, in addition to my O2 sensor and MAF sensor?

How far does the work go to help me retain my A/C and power steering? I will make every effort to keep them if i can.

By parts i just meant aftermarket mods. I plan on using the Greddy IM since there arent many choices. PE timing belt, and headgasket (1.8mm). I was considering the McKinney mount kit, but i think it's too pricey at $600 USD.

Hopefully the Greddy IM won't make me have to cut the hood skeleton. But i would rather have the mount kit to move the engine back an inch.

Also i'm guessing you had to get a driveshaft custom and balanced, what was the cost of that? Or did you do that yourself as well?

Sorry i'm just getting my information straightened out before i start ordering more parts. So far i have the Q45 MAF and a Blitz SS BOV with pipe for the RB25DET.

P.S Do you have msngr Kamin? It would make things alot easier than clogging up the forum.

your money is better spent on the mckinney mount kit rather than the greddy im, thats a waste of money, the stock intake manifold is good for probably all the hp you could want. the only downside to it is the way you have to route fmic piping. But frankly, id rather deal with that than all of the clearance issues brought about by not using a mount kit.

you should also consider replacing the water pump while your doing the timing belt, just preventative maintenence.

thats just my $00.02

95% of the wiring is done on the F3 plug for the S14s. Use your KA lower engine harness in place of the RB's.

95% if your using the stock ka cluster, if using the rb cluster its more wiring, but worth it in the end, the r33 cluster looks so good in an s14. plus all the gauges work right.

Ugh, no i have the R32 cluster instead. And it doesnt have the pretty white faced gauges. So i'd like to use the S14 cluster.

the r33 gauges aren' white faced either, i personally got tired of the white face SE gauges after a while. Plus the white/red illumination at night is sawweet lookin.

if it was between the r32 and my SE cluster, id probably go with the SE.

and you dont really need a cluster pinout, its kind of drawn out on the back of the cluster what everything is. that information along with the f3 pinout and you should be good.
