Ok, I've read all the posts about programming the Keyless entry. I insert the key atleast 6 times and the hazards blink twice, then i turn the key to ACC. then I press the lock button, and nothing happens. I lost my original remote, but a friend gave me his old remote from a Nissan Sentra. It's oval with 1 long lock button across top and alarm and unluck under it. It's not the battery either.. Any Suggestions?

Check with the dealership. There are several different Infiniti/Nissan remotes out there. Call the parts counter with your Serial #, and the guy there will give you the FCC code and the DOC/MDC code. If it is not the same, it will not work.

Once you have the correct codes, start browsing eBay, there are hundreds of remotes for sale, at bargain prices. Just about every lease turn-in keeps the second remote that came with the car.

Most start out at $10.00, and end in the $36 to $50 range.

A universal aftermarket remote will run you around $50.00, and the dealership will charge you about $100 to $130 for a new one.

Most dealerships will program the remote for you for free.

You can program up to 4 separate remotes for each car, so, if you find a great deal on eBay, buy a couple.

Sentra remote WILL NOT work. Wrong FCC code.
