I started to notice a problem which is progressively worsening. When driving at highway speed and i let off the throttle, i will notice what feels to be the rear end of the vehicle "shimmy" back and forth two or three times and then stop.. only to "shimmy" two or three more times when i re-apply the throttle.

I don't notice it as much while driving straight on, but while banking in a turn it is getting very noticeable.. to the point where i have to make steering wheel corrections to keep the car on course.

I got under the car and visually inspected, and did not notice any broken mounts or links. All four tires are brand new, and they were aligned when i had them replaced. Lug nuts are tight. Perhaps im out of alignment still? What shall i check next... its a scary problem to have!

Upon further searching (and replacing the word shake/ shimmy with "sway") it seems like the dreaded "death sway".

Will do the test now to confirm

Any other place i can buy the lower trailing arms from the internet? Or must i go to the dealer?

It's probably recommended that you replace both the front and rear bushings since they are all probably in bad shape.
Those links posted by Pwnin O-Brien are for the FRONT control arm front and rear bushings. Isn't the death sway caused by the REAR lower control arm bushings being bad?

Yeah, those are for the front control arms. Here's the link for the lower link (trailing arm) bushings...

Great, thanks Pwnin. Can the front arms be part of/or the cause of the death sway? Or would the front arm bushings being bad yield different symptoms?
