Side skirts too small

General discussion forum about the 240sx, and a great place to introduce yourself to the board!

I tried to test fit my side skirts I bought the other day, but they are about an inch too small to clamp onto the fenders. ('89 240sx)

Should I risk stretching it a little?

or what should I do? cut, then lay some fiberglass?

Most aftermarket side skirt got s***ty fitment anyway, I cracked my then bondo the corner a bit before I have the car paint.
