Newbie question: what are the two little plastic panels at the side just ahead of the rear wheel?

It's a PROTECTOR REAR FILLET - 78817-JL00B... whatever that is, sounds like I should throw over some hot coals for 2 minutes each side On ebay it's listed as a Stone Guard, so there I have it. A stone guard in front of the rear wheels on a RWD car... anyways, I guess there's nothing behind it, so I'm glad I didn't just try pry it out. Cheers.

Oh good. TBH, I was having a little trouble trying to figure it out from the parts diagram. Seems like an odd place for a stone guard.

Yeah - and the weird thing is I can't find a pic on the web of a G37 coupe with those little side panels, so I was really curious about them.

But since it's in the parts catalog, that settles it.
