side mount intercooler help

im getting ready to install a s13 sr into my 92 240sx.and how did you guys install your side mount intercooler piping,did you have to cut for both hot and cold pipes to fit?because mine just has one small hole.where the airbox used to be.thanks for the help.

Remove the stock airbox and everything below it. You will see the small hole that leads down into a resonator, you can remove that too from under the car. Around the small hole, you will see an outline of the bigger hole you need to cut for the intercooler piping.
