Does anyone have the stock Side molding or the 3M Side Molding on there car and if so has it protected your door from door dings?I know that all car doors are different heights and I was also wondering how high or low to mount them.

bob from versaspeed.com has had his on his car for a long time and previously said he has no dings on his v at all. im sure he could tell you exactly where the molding would need to be mounted.

I put molding on my Versa and so far so good. I uploaded the Install Instructions in PDF format. You can take a look at Side Molding PDF .

that part of the door is the same shape on the HB and sedan... don't see why it wouldn't work.

I'd just like to state for the record that I've owned a V since January and have not yet gotten a door ding. I have no side molding. I don't think it ties in well with the rest of the body design... but that's just me.

I bought my molding off of EBay (didn't realize I could get it at VersaSpeed). If you jump over to my Versa page on http://www.vpnavy.org/nissan/index_versa.html you can see the molding on my Sedan.
