anyone else plan on getting the side molding in the near future. this is one of the next things i plan on putting on my V. too many careless people that fling their doors open and slam into cars. i especially have no luck when it comes to people its either getting hit by cars or carts in parking lot or dings from doors i need all the protection i can get. i may just wait i hear the nissan dealers will be getting the side molding in the near future.

I thought about it once, but after seeing the $100+ price tag I decided not to bother. I've seen them for sale on ebay and I think I saw them at CourtesyParts. To avoid most incidents, I normally find the highest point of the parking lot, the furthest away from the door. This way I don't have to worry about someone opening a door on me since most won't park back that far. Since carts tend to migrate downhill toward their home (the front entrance), I'm protected on top of my little incline

Have them on my Versa, if you go to the website you will see pictures of it and I can get them in colors or they are paintable and for about hundred bucks, cheaper then dented up doors and trip to the body shop. I've had them since I owned the car so for about eight months and no dings.

i am the same i park way in the back of any parking lot, when i'm at work wherever i go i park farthest away from everyone. yet i still have a ding in my door and someone backed into me last friday which i was able to buff the scratches out now i just have a little dent that isn't noticeable in less you are looking for it. but its just my luck i cant escape careless people, so side molding is a definite at some point.
