My passenger side molding's adhesive is beginning to fail; it's easy to start peeling it off. If anybody doesn't know what I'm talking about, picture:
What do I use to glue it back on? My driver's side is still affixed quite nicely. The passenger side looks like it even slid a bit, I'll try to get a better picture.

3M makes a great adhesive just for this. There is more than one formula though, make sure you get the good stuff through a body shop. The "Autozone" version isn't as good.

Found basically the same thing on Amazon. Isn't covered by Amazon Prime, but oh well. Guess I'll order that eventually. I assume I'll want to remove the entire molding, clean off the residue, and re-tape it on for best results, or should I just lay some tape underneath where it's starting to come loose and press it on?

Depends completely on how well you want it to look and how much time you want to invest in the project. I will tell you that to completely take the trim off is a PITA. It will look a lot better if you do it though.

Eh, it doesn't seem too difficult to me, it started to pry off very easily, but no idea how much more difficult it'll be at the halfway mark. I'll take a closer look at it tomorrow.

I took off all my moldings since my doors are so high up other cars doors never hit there anymore....just lower But when I took mine off I just used fishing line and 3m adhesive remover thats paint safe. Its really easy to actually cut through the side molding with the fishing line though if you get a bad angle on it.
