My Rogue had a verrrrrry close encounter with a renegade bale of hay yesterday and miraculously the only damage was the side mirror glass shattered. It seems like the glass is stuck onto the backing with double-sided tape so I figure this is something I could just order and put on myself! Has anyone replaced the glass only before and where did you buy it? I'm having a hard time finding just the glass online. The dealership said it was $127! That doesn't seem right for just the glass. Thanks!

I see those replacement side mirror stuff with stick on backing at my everyday Wal-mart. I assume you can check your local auto store. Point is, should be way cheaper when they don't charge over $100 for labor to tape the thing on. Size wise, I don't know if it would be available though.

OEM Nissan Mirror glass, $49.35 from our site sponsor: everythingnissan.com:

The mirror is glued to a plastic retainer/frame which clips into the mirror body. The OEM mirror glass should include this frame. Refer to service manual, pg MIR-20 for mirror glass removal/installation:

What about the heating element? If the Rogue comes without heated mirrors then it's pointless to overpay for heated mirror from my point of view. At the same time I'm interested in adding heated mirrors (which are available for leather pckg. only) if it's not a hard mod.

On other Nissan models, the heater is part of the mirror glass. I have yet to find a part no. or even a listing for the heated version. I would try the dealer... I do not expect it to be that much more money. For example, the '02-06 Altima heated mirror glass is only $15 more than the non-heated version.
