Im in the process of swapping my engine and my battery had a copper wire on the end of it (4 gauge speaker wire) and it touched a metal braket on the sr and spraks flying. The ground wire on the left strut tower started smoking. Now i check all the fuses none were blown also i should say nothing else is plugged in (ecu or wire harness) Did it burn something out or does something go to the ecu later on and turn back on?

this is whats wrong-dash lights, but not the clock or the seatbelt or brake light, s all on-side markers front and back-turn signal lights dont turn on, but when the signals left and right the lights blink-the radio still works-the alarm wont turn onwhat do you think?

Did you find the problem yet? I have this same issue on my wife's 92 S13, but it happened for no apparent reason. Stock engine -- no swap. The only thing aftermarket on this car is the Clifford alarm.

I did find the problem there were two blown fuses and my fuel pump fuse in my engine was blown thank god i didn't blow a relay. What is actually wrong with yours? does it start up at all? If one fuse is bad it could cut the relay on all of your problems, you should look at all of them. Also battery might be going dead i blew two batteries on one day dont have any clue how that could happen

Oh, the car starts and runs fine. (Well, it has the ocassional starter problem everyone seems plagued with.) Headlights work, stop lights work, stereo works, blinkers work, dash lights don't, side markers don't, tail lights don't.

For a while, also, the lights behind the heating/cooling control unit have been off ... several months ... but that is probably just a few bulbs.
