Alright didn't bother searching for this one because i didnt know what it was called. So far I have seen 2 names for this part, Side turn singal and Side marker. Just wondering what is the official name of this part.

Thanks

That would be normally termed a side marker (but also functions as a turn signal on the side). But it has to be an aftermarket or other country option.

Ah, yes, the official name is the "Starboard Lane Signal Notification Module." Those are an option in... every other country besides the good ol' US of Freaking A. Why the US doesn't mandate them is beyond me, but I know where you can get them. Call your nearest Mexican or Canadian Nissan dealer, or try eBay. Ask for the "fender mounted turn signal" and be sure to buy the entire thing, wires and all.

Is that something Thenismoshop.com or versaspeed.com could or would carry in inventory?

Correction, these are not an option in the Mexican Market, they come standard. Here's my V (actually is a Mexican Tiida):

sometimes they're also referred to as courtesy lights.

I'm not aware of them being an option on the Canadian Versas. I've never seen it. But then I havent been looking either.

Here's an additional thought... good body shops have access to a catalog of these in various shapes and colors... so unless you are dying to a 100% pure TIIDA light, you could find one very similar right in your own backyard.

Like Kimber said, you could just find some other readily available side signal lamps. For instance, the G20 has those fender mounted signals and you can order them online from EverythingNissan.com , but they're a little pricey @ $22 for each clear plastic lens and $8 for each bulb socket. I have no idea, but I'd bet some aftermarket signals might be cheaper.

By the way, I've always thought (and EverythingNissan's part directory confirms) that "side markers" are the non-blinking lights mounted on the side of a bumper. See in this pic of my car, I've got side markers in the bumpers (red in the back, orange up front) and "side signals" on the front fender...

i have installed the side marker in my versa. you can make it blink alternately with the turn signal. only thing is you have to have your side light on. you can make it blink without turn on the side light but you will need three relay to make it work. i have the diagram for it.
