Here is my situation:

- Changed out my side marker light lens but found the bulbs did not work.
- Bought replacements and found the right side worked, the left did not.
- Removed the bulb, and the bulb housing, and tried it on the right side. The bulb worked.
- So now I am wondering if it is a fuse issue or a wiring issue.
- If it is a wiring issue, how difficult is it to fix.

Thanks.

You can check wiring by putting in your OEM side markers...if they work, then its the replacement one.

All I did was change out the lens.

OK. I took both lenses off and I turned on my lights. The passenger side worked and the driver side did not.

I then switched the bulb holders out. Again, the passenger worked and the driver did not. As such this leads me to believe that the problem is in the wiring somehow. How hard will it be for me to trace the problem then fix it? I am really ticked!

Feel free to look at the FSM for wiring diagrams. (link in my sig) Not sure if there is a fuse that would only affect the one side. You could also try and clean the connector for the bulb.

Check the bulb socket for corrosion or bent "prongs"....

@Audtatious, I might need to replace the socket from the main cable. I think the side marker is wired into the headlights so getting to that should not be too bad, but it requires some removal of items which I hope I do not have to do.
