man, those pics are like.. the epidome of blurry. anyway, as you can see from the first pic, i left the cat and the flange of the original pipe that came from the cat. I cut it after the little expansion chamber type thing, and put about a 90 degree bend in the pipe. This is also where i put my hangar. a little ways down, there is another bend upward, directing the pipe through that gap between the body and that metal piece. after that, there is another small bend just to straighten the pipe out again before it goes through the hole in the rocker panel. It looks a little rough right now (pic 2) but i plan on painting the whole bottom of the car black, so its flush with the highest point of the current paint line. (no more circle crap above the pipe). Pic 3 just shows that the pipe is pretty much plum with the rest of the car, it doesnt stick out, or indent. You can barely see the pipe from pic 4, but its there, just a little to the left of the jack. This is mainly a view of where the old exhaust used to be. Pic 5 is just a pic of the pipe in action (drivers side rocker panel). Any questions?

Thanks to Black240 for posting my pics :)

could you have just left the pipe on the side without cuting a hole in to the rocker panel??? it mean by the pictures it looks like you cut a hole probably like 2-3" or somehting...

You mean just pass it underneath the rocker panel? I thought about that, but it would be so low that it would scrape and stuff when you went to put it on a lift, that and there would be more radical bending involved.

how's the driver side rear caliper holding up???

when my muffler fell off a few years ago, i temp plumbed a flexible exhaust pipe from pepboys out to the side...then found out that the driver side rear caliper seized a year or two later (mainly from rust)

since exhaust is mainly water vapor along w/ some other gases, could it have done it in? or was it from the heat of the exhaust?

i doubt it was from either, the fact is, calipers get so damn hot anyway, it doesnt really matter. water vapor would instinatly evaporate, and heat is just always there. its not nearly as bad as going through a puddle.
