Does any one know WTF kind of set up this is. :wtf2: I really am wanting something similar in sound but am no expert bye any means on buying the right set up. Im thinking for starters is this a V8 and does it have mods from the engine itself that provide that deep tone? Any advice would help me start my journey. :werd:

If sound is all you want, you can get that sound with a12 pack of washers for about $5. From the sound of it, it's a 35.

No i want better flow, better gas milage and overall better performance. I just want that deep note as a preference in sound. Allot of the other M35 with exhaust sound raspy and light in the deeper notes. Really... A 12 pack a washers? I don't even want to know how you do that.

Sounds like Trust (Greddy) exhaust system. Too bad it's only in japan. There are other sound clips that sound like this on youtube.

That was more of a joke. I wouldn't seriously recommend creating exhaust leaks.

Have you thought about trying a custom exhaust? I've gone the custom route on a couple cars with great results.
The only downside is that there aren't many exhaust shops around here that can do mandrel bends, so I went up 1/4" in pipe diameter from the desired pipe diameter to compensate.

Most aftermarket exhausts will be mandrel bent. The pipe diameter doesn't change in the bends.
A majority of muffler shops take straight pipe and bend them according to your needs, but at the expense of crushing the inner part of the bend and reducing the pipe diameter.
Some people will argue that it doesn't make much of a difference since the exhaust gases tend to follow the outside of the bend, but I don't see the point in spending money on an exhaust where the diameter at any point is going to be the same as the factory setup.

Here's a pretty good explanation:
