I have a 90 nissan 240. when u red line a car u know how it bounces at the red line? mine doesn't, it gets to it then goes straight to idle and even when u try to rev it again it won't react for a few seconds what can it be or is there any mechanic that lives close by to help me figure it out in in pennsauken n.j.

Try a known good ECU and make sure the coolant and other fluids are clean and like new.

the ecu was replaced with a stock one. still the same. I think I got it I think it's the fuel pump cause it was after market with butt connectors hooking it up may be connetions are bad i'm getting to it hopefully this week cause I'm puttting it back on the road.

ok I been driving the car for a bit and now the car under hard acceleration shuts off completely, can some one help me? I have it for sale on craigslist but don't really want to gid rid of it.
