A local tire shop that I deal with for wheels/tires/brakes......total pkg cost with tax: $1684.69......soxypoo wrote:btw where did you get your rims ???? website ??? or local shop ?
Thanks! Would really like to do the brakes but btw the rims/tires & the illuminated kickplates investment, I'm out of mod funds for the time being! I'm happy with the look for now.... I'd really like do a cold intake system but I'm still under warranty and the Nissan svc guys tell me I could possibly screw that up if I do anything but a Nismo intake, which they don't currently make for our cars:(BLKmomba1 wrote:looks good... u thinkin bout the big breaks, i saw u say something in a thread i think

Those wheels look more sunken than stock
Thanks LinkNuc! Ive always had silver and black cars in the past, wasn't too sure about the color but it had the pkgs I wanted and I got a helluva deal because it was a new 08 just sitting on the lot.....I have since come to embrace the color and love it.......but it is a biatch to take care of!LinkNuc wrote:Nice! I was never a fan of that color (I liked the Royal Blue on the Titan's etc) but that looks really good!
19's would be a pain when it came time for tires. 19's tires are not cheap.dflane39 wrote:Although i feel like these rims would be better in 19s bc idk y but they just seem like tiny 18s
My choices for size were either 18s or 20s......no 19 available.....but hey, as long as it's "proportional tiny" I'm happy
last week i went to get my coupe front/rear aligned (camber & toe were waaay off btw) i asked the front-end guy about these spacers and he told me "They will destroy your hub bearings over time." so i left it at that, i mean he would know waaay more than i would. The service writer concurred too.alphapig wrote:So your wheels actually fill up the wheel arch. They are hiding pretty far in there.
Makes the car effectively wider, so arguably better handling.
More aggressive stance.
No sunken battleship.
Yes, it is my everyday vehicle and when you are a student and have to park on a college campus, it sorta bites....but I take alot of pride in my car and will go the extra mile (or walk the extra mile !) to insure someone doesn't ding, slam, sideswipe or otherwise f*ck up my car! Here is what I drove before my coupe.....put a bit of work into her....2005 Corolla 5 sp Sport....AltCoupe10 wrote:Wow, you put a lot of work into that car. Is that your everyday vehicle? I would be too afraid to drive that around as my regular. I'm wanting the same type of ride, 3.5, navy blue, '10. How much are you having to pay on it per month? I'm looking to deal around.
