Work Emotion CR Kai 18x7.5" here.

Not on the car yet as they're currently being made in Japan, still have a few weeks wait.

Same as this, my Tiida is Sapphire Black though.

Will update pics in a few weeks or so when they're on the car.

So what's the general consensus on 18x7.5" rims --- 215 or 225 wide tyres??? Which is better?

it's amazing that you guys can put any kind of wheels that you want !!

Here in ISRAEL the wheels and tires size are written in the registration and you are not allowed to change the size !!! in order to change a special permit need to be obtain from the ministry of transportation and its a pain in the *** to get one , I'm still have my original 195X65R15 ...

Just to clear stuff up about the TPMS sensor, it is fully transferable WITHOUT having to reset the computer... They work on ANY wheel and will automatically adapt to any tire size/pressure.

Yes they do, but if you go to the tire shop that you bought your new wheels (when they are mounting them), most won't charge you because they make such a large profit off the actual products BEFORE charging you for mounting, balancing, etc. They will also re-mount them with a standard valve stem.

Discount tire is the absolute best for this kind of thing! If there is not one near you, check out a Tires Plus or non-local tire shop (local shops generally don't have the same buying power = more expensive).

Trying not to spend money that is uncalled for, again.

Yesterday my “V” received it’s first road scar (the rims). Being my first pair of rims I ignorantly purchased 215/35/18 tires (18"x7.5") as recommended by the shop where I purchased my rims. I am so nervous with the roads here in NYC.

My question is:

Can I go 225/45/18 w/o any major problems???

I’m willing to deal with minor rub as opposed to be terrified of how much more I can damge my wheels in these unforgiving inner city streets. This car is my everyday driver. I’m planning on installing Tananbe NF210’s, 1.5" drop w. "normal feeling???". Trying to focus on ride my family's comfort during my mods. Thanx everyone...
