Yeah you could run off of the track. Mine froze many times when I would be going 16548179879879874651476547615767mph......LOL

Actually, that is the reason I broke my old PS1 when I was a kid. I had that car and I couldn't control it worth s***. I was trying to beat some race and kept failing. I finally got so angry I slammed the controller onto the PS console. It snapped that top piece that lifted up to expose the disk, broke the game itself, and shattered the little laser reader thing.

And yes, I do have anger issues.
