Personaly I think you should blow it all on airbags, chrome, dubs, whatever else will win you a show.

Sorry to be rude, but you dont seem to know too much about going fast. and going fast isnt going to get you any kind of respect from show people. by asking us what you want, you are just looking to see what will get you the best resposne.. so build your car to impress everyone else.

THANK YOUUUUUU! this whole "im just going to go wit 'NOS' (b/c ppl are to lazy to rebuild thier enigne) is just gay. NO offense to any of the nitros users on board but when someone defines "go"as a car wit a 75shot of nitros and exhuast wit intake as "go" then they need to trade in thier car. It just pisses me off when someone says "oh yeah my car is all go. i got a 50 shot dry nitros kit wit fogger system and exhuast wit intake" and thats it. a go car will be a all motor KA24DE pushing 200hp, or a KA24E rebuild motor pushinc a T4 turbo, FMIC, port polished, cams, rods, etc. pushing 310hp. or even an SR20 or RB(choose you model) pushing 450-500hp to the wheels. thats a go car!

In all fairness, and regardless to the lack of restraint show by some moderators and respectable car people :rolleyes

The reason we rag on you is because you sound just like you just watched the FaF for the first time. You talk, and have the mentality of a person who believes what they see in movies, and read in magazines. Here's a crash course.

1) Nitrous or Nitrous Oxide, not NOS2) Bodykits are nice, but aren't necessarily liked in a crowd filled with performance oriented people.3) Custom Interior is also thought to be excessive by those same people, unless your interior is falling apart4) Airbags really aren't useful from a performance stand point5) Don't expect to be treated royally with all show items, you'll get someone like I H8 UR DSM crawling all over you with snotty remarks like only he can

6) Hope to God deesolballs never see's this post..

Your car is an extension of your personality, what anyone else thinks doesn't matter, you dont have to prove anything. However with that said it's not bad asking for help or an opinion, but asking other people to make the descision or do the hard work for you is weak.

Post keeping in mind most people here are racers, and not show goers, remeber that and you'll be fine.

Personally I think you should give us all 4800 dollars divided evenly and spend the other 200 on a gun and bullets...then splatter your brains all over a wall for EVER wanting to put 19's and airbags on a car like a 240. It's like making an escalade fast...it's just wrong.

Hey knock it off, you wouldn't like someone hating on you because of your specific tastes. I've noticed a regular decline in new users that make one post and leave because people badger them. Be more persuasive about performance and get them involved. Telling someone to kill themselves joking or not, is not cool. My last post was an attempt to stop the badgering, so knock it off.

He we go again. And yes, i do like playing Devil's advocate.

I dont have one bit of problem with a nice body kit. As long as you paint the darn thing to match the rest of the car. I am not a fan of metal wings, or those double decker jobs.

Getting air bags is fine and dandy if that is your thing. It your car. There is nothing wrong with a show car. It is good to want to have a nice looking car.

As far as Nitrous goes. There isn't a thing wrong with the use of a Nitrous system. It is by far the best bang for the buck. And they are perfectly safe to use if you know what you are doing. Ask Aries.

Why bash on someone because they are making 250 rwhp with spray and it only cost him $500 or so for the N2O kit where as a Turbo set up it will cost him anywhere from $1200 to $3500.Which makes more sense to you?????????????

I've tried being persuasive in the past Freak...sometimes you just have to tell them they are stupid, its just how it goes. I guess I really have no love for show cars, they disturb me deeply with their gaudy body kits, huge wings, clear lights and bright shiny but relatively unmodified engines (note: I am not talking about ALL show cars, just the ones where you see the guy on the street and he says "yo, this be my show car yo, I lost because it's a show car yo"). Besides, its pretty obvious I dont REALLY mean that he should kill himself, I think that's evident from the sarcastic tone my post has. Furthermore, he would'nt be leaving just because of me, there are numerous posts before mine telling him he's a fool and an idiot for wanting to do that to a respectable car.

i hate rice cars. i love imports.

i like imports because they're cheap, light, well balanced cars. they do excellent in solo2 racing, and autocross. with some power, they can prove to be tons of fun on a track.

im interested in building performance minded imports.

then some assclown comes and rices out his moms civic and drives around like an idiot.. and i automatically get grouped with him because we both drive "imports". so yes.. its their car, and they can do whatever they want to it. but im getting ****ted on for driving an import... so an attempt to persuade them away from rice is in order.

.. now excuse me, i think my metal floor pan and manifold welds just blew..

Persuading someone and educating them is one thing, but bashing them and making them feel inferior is some thing else.

Not saying you made anyone feel inferior. Not everyone has the same style or likes and dislikes as you and I do.

People come here because it is the best source of information for the 240 and other Nissans. They dont want to get flammed for wanting to put hydros and air bags on their car.

Something to think about............

As the Fast and Furious goes. I didn't even like imports with the exception of Toyota's before I saw that movie.

I was a huge domestic person (Mustang, Camero). But I saw this retarded movie and it got me thinking. And it got me researching. I started reading all the import mags. I started looking for a rear wheel drive car, and behold the 240sx and RX7.

I dont trust the rotary engines so hince I am here. I have been researching the 240SX since I found the ORG. I have amast a good bit of knowledge from the people here in NICO and on a few other sites, and I try to share that info with any who want to know.

I aprreciate the info and patients I was shown on the ORG and hope that we can show the same to new members here in NICO.

PS Yeah, I will point out when someone is full of s***. But we dont want to run off all the new members.

Ok people. Thanks for all your input, i sure have learned a lesson from all this. I dont exactly know what but im pretty sure i have. Looking back at all the posts did make me think though, a 240 was never meant to be a show car in the first place. It was meant to go fast and be a fun car to drive. I guess if i wanna go show ill get an escalde or something. Im still here even after Nathan told me to go blow my brains out! But he was right though about the 19's on the 240. But still man come on, theres no need for violence. I think ive gotten bashed on enough. ive learned my lesson and ive made up my mind. Tell me what you people think.... Im going to rebuild my motor( for more hp), repaint my car the stock car (that changing green color) and get some 17's or 18's and blow the rest of my money on liquor and strippers like TomsMR2 had said earlier:D j/k

Well I did'nt ACTUALLY mean for you to blow your brains out, it was a facetious comment, a joke if you will. I'm glad that you've changed your mind, you mostly got the point I was trying to make...that the 240 was never designed with show in mind, it's a drivers car that was sadly mis-engined in the United States. I'm now going to remove myself from this discussion before I really piss anyone off...you all have my apolgies if I have offended you with my smart@$$ remarks.
