Hey everyone!I just wanted to send out an invite to all of the Z owners to come out and show off your car!We are having a large NICO meet sept 6th 2003 in Bowling Green KY.There are usually not to many Z's at the meets so I thought this might help get some to show up and show off.We will be meeting at the Corvette Museum then going to Beech Bend raceway to have some 1/4 mile fun. Please come out and play if you can! Here is the thread with the information you may need.http://nicoclub.com/zerothread?id=30745 ;)

If I get my alignment & wheel balance done (so I can drive > 55 on the freeway), I'll try to be there.

I was hoping that you would make it out.As you know that You Z is one of my all time faves of the 91-96's.

I dont count the 1990.They had many problems.(and no Nissan emblem on the front)I had a 1991 Z a while ago.Still every time that I go to get a "NEW"(new to me) car I keep the 91-96 TT 5-speed in mind.If I ever found a stock one with 30K-50K miles on I woud grab it up.Those are hard to find though.

Some people are going to Bowling Green Friday night.Others are going to Louisville Friday night or Sat. morning to hook up with the Caravan to BG.(last year there were about 100 cars that went in the Caravan = so FUN)Let me know what your plans are going to be.

Pre-Meet caravan is in Louisville at the Mijers parking lot on Preston hwy just off of the Geene Snyder freeway.(E-mail me for directions.) --11:00 am

Corvette Museum in Bowling Green at 12:00 noon

Dyno is a maby right now.

Lunch

Beech Bend raceway in Bowling Green at 5:00pm

I sent out E-mails to the a few" Z " clubs.

There really weren't that many problems w/ the 90s - the only major one really is that some of the very first cars had mis-machined heads that ended up causing some hesitation further down the road (most of which will have been found and corrected in the 14 years since the cars were sold), and some of the very early cars (we're talking first 2-3 months of production in 1989 here) had soft intake valves - which also would have likely been corrected by now. I personally wouldn't hesitate to buy a 90, as long as I checked out those two possible problems first (compression test will usually show any problems that these bugs could've caused).
