Current shot, but new dash coming soon (fiberglass and painted I'm thinking):

My audio system is not even close to you guys. But this is my first time work on car audio installation. And I picked my 08 Z to be a guinea pig.

Current setup:

1. Kenwood Excelon DDX 8122. Diamond Audio S600s for fronts3. (2) JL Audio 10W3V34. Alpine PDX 2.1505. Alpine PDX 1.6006. Infinity Reference 6022 for rears7. Rockford Fosgate dual amp wiring kit8. 2-10" Zenclosure

I basically torn my whole interior apart

Finally after about 6 days off work (about 40 hours total), the installation is finished.

Even on the Z, the DDX 812 sticks out like 1/4" The Z has a glove compartment right behind the passenger's seat, so I used that to hide my two amps. The two fans there are used as intake/circulating and there is another fan in the bottom that is for exhausting air. I also have a fan speed controller in there as well. These stuff are from my spare computer parts

Mounted the tweeter at the stock location. I had to custom make the new tweeter to fit since it was way bigger than the stock one.

I mounted the bluetooth microphone close to the rearview mirror, it seemed to be pretty good sound.

And now are the action shot

I did not do the Esotar² 650. I have the System 362 but I replaced the tweeter with the Esotar² 110 tweeters. I am think about replacing the mids to the new Esotar² 430 also but I am not sure yet, but I am extremely happy with the MW-172 8" Mid bass right now. To me there is no replacement for a quick 8" mid bass unless Dynaudio comes up with a 8" Esotar² series.

I still have much work to do. I still have to dynomat the entire floor still but I may just do the wheel wells first.

Here is my full setup item list.

Front Doors2 Esotar² 1102 Esotec MD-142 3" Mids2 Esotec MW-172 8" Mid Bass

Center1 Esotec MW-152

Rear Deck2 Esotec MD-110 tweeter (Rear Pillars)2 Esotec MW-172 8" Mid Bass

Trunk1 Esotar² 1200 12" Sub in a Sealed box about 1.5 cu. ft.

AMPS1 McIntosh MCC404 (4 x 100watts) Powers Rear deck and Esotar² 110 Tweeters in the doors.1 McIntosh MCC404 (2 x 400watts bridged) Powers MD-142 and MD-172 in the doors

1 Arc Audio KS-500.1 powers the 12" Sub1 Arc Audio ks125.2 MINI (1 x 250watt bridged) powers the MW-152 Center

No that is just a Monster Cable sticker. The Bluetooth MIC is in the head liner near the review mirror. But I was able with the help of my friends connect the sirrius unit to the factory XM antenna. It works pretty well.

Yesterday me and my brother finished the sub enclosure. Hopefully later this year I can get some good components and mold in the amp rack and wrap it in carbon fiber.

Hey Banshee, I live in Baldwin Park. Would your friend be able to get some good prices on subs and an amp?

coupeguy... interesting choice of subwoofer setup... W7's do NOT want to be in sealed boxes... they'd much prefer to be in a ported box... I've heard an 8" W7 in a sealed box, and it sounded very good, but I've never seen a 10" or 12" in sealed boxes

That 10w7 sounds great and is insanely loud. All my friends are amazed that its just one 10.

Honestly i didnt take the time to calculate the airspace.. so it is probably a little small.

Kuhan, that looks really clean. Nice job. I'm sure it was a pain working in the tight spaces that are available in the Z. I'm going to have to check that out in person at some point.

Thanks guys. The S600s' sound awesome, but I can't compare them since these are my first aftermarket speakers. However, I still need help to tune the amps and the DDX812 to get the best out of them.

Dayum that Z looks nice! Everything is so thought out that's so awesome man. Was there any particular reason why you chose to go with a separate nav unit instead of the add-on module you can get for the DDX812?

Again it looks sick!

Thanks for the compliment. Actually that's my portable Garmin GPS which I already have before I bought the DDX812.
