What kind of prep work did you do the paint before you sprayed the engine bays? I am getting my car done next weekend and haven't decided if I am gonna paint the bay to match or go with a black.

I used a lot of brake clean to get dirt out then used scotch bright pad on it and some sand paper. I only did like one coat though I should have done more though a small piece rubbed off today I prob spilled some brake fluid on it or somthin

Sounds good. I will be sure to post up mine hopefully this weekend or early next week. I am debating if I want to remove the brake booster and lines or just tape them. I have one rust sport on the driver fender near the tower that I got to fix and then I am cutting out the battery tray cause its rusted beyond saving.

I left the brake booster in and painted it flat black as well. Taped up the MC's though. And removed the wiper motor. It doesn't look as good any more though. Stupid leaking front main shot drips of oil all around I gotta replace that noww
