My current daily beater civic. It has a b20 which is fun, but with 240k on the clock it needs suspension BAD.

And this used to be my daily until it decided to throw a rod bearing. Now she just sits until I get some nice enough weather to pull the motor and rebuild.

Yes I daily drove it with the teeth for a while.

Obviously you need to hit the track a bit more. Painters tape saves your paint from rock chips when leading cars send them flying, and you happen to be directly behind.

its gotten to the point that the clear coat is doin a great job of removing itself. **WARNING!***RANT!***you cant see it in the pic really, but starting at my d-side side marker, there is paint transfer from a silver lexus that sideswiped me Ben Hurr style on the freeway @about 80! kinda weird driving along, and someones mirror comes into your window! no horn, so I tapped on his f$kin window as my mirror folded and we made contact! end of the story, guy keeps driving his new lexus north with a sporty red door stripe while i follow him as long as i can, signaling to pull off to exchange info... had to stop following cuz i was out of gas. called the cops too, but didnt get a plate number so they just searched my car, presumably looking for the other car, instead.

ok, Im spent.

wow, that sucks. cheapest fix is rattle can. thats what i did when my car got hit. spent the insurance money on type x aero and just sprayed everything semi gloss black. you can always get is painted good later

werd, i thought that was common sense. even at auto x's where only one car is out there at a time, the s2ks, vettes, and other newer cars tape up real good to keep everything looking good

The daily...

In the four years that I've owned this truck it has never broken down, and all I do to it is an oil change every once in a while(probably three times a year)

On the other hand, my S13 which I have owned for a year and some months, has already broken down on me four times and is currently out of commission with a fried computer(no money for another computer )

Thanks for the comment hb, a lot of people on this forum think my car looks goofy lol, I don't listen to them though.

I've tried looking locally, but no junkyards here in Miami have any S13's at the moment. Which I find hard to believe, since most of S13 owners here love to drift the crap out of them. Junkyards here should be filled with crashed S13's.

Luckily I have the good ol pick up as my daily, I haven't really been in a hurry to fix the S13.

Thanks again hb.

thats the ultimate ***** slap lol. its a grand prix, nothing is similar to the grand am, besides the fact that they are both made by pontiac and they both start with grand

240 is in pieces, should be ready for 2009 scca solo events.

Here is my daily. I just picked it up for a 1000, a steal IMO. I might be trading it in on a is300, since i dont have much money in it and they are giving me great money for it. [IMG][/IMG][IMG][/IMG]

Or when it is nice outside I'm always on this bad boy.[img][/img]
