Why do you need a new manifold? are you going topmount?

That turbo will fit fine on the stocker, i know, ive done it too.

tubing will be powdercoated soon.. its not rusty inside

Are the cam covers powdercoated? What type of paint did you use on the "coil cover?"

cam covers are just factory paint, really not in as good of condition as they appear.. i think i will take them along with the intercooler tubing, and the upper timing cover when i go to the powdercoater..

rustoleum plastic paint, its really durable, and goes on well

I like the saab intercooler setup!! I didnt realize just how wide it actually was

the saab intercooler came with the car, so i dont know specifically waht model it is, but its a newer one..

i made the piping... straight 2.5" tube, lots of little pie pieces and then welded (ugly MIG) together

New color, gotta keep it looking nice, Now when I can get some new intercooler pipes!!!!!UGH!

that's a pre-87 9000 turbo intercooler, the newer one has different in/outlet pipes. I prefer the one you have personally, it's so much easier to fit. many years back a lot of people told me it couldn't be done and it wasn't as good as the later one, so I fited one and a lot of people shut-up
