Does anyone know of a way to see the direction you are heading (north, south, etc) in the Information Display area between the speedometer and the tach when you are using Navigation? Mine shows route info like next exit when I want it to show the direction I'm traveling. I want to see something like I'm traveling SE and not just an arrow on the Nav screen. Thanks

The ultimate answer is no (to my knowledge)*. The navigation screen on the Vehicle Information Display shows either the compass (when not using NAV) or the route info (when using NAV). This has not been a problem for me because I have the Homelink mirror which shows the compass direction all the time.

An alternative is to change the orientation of the map display. There is an icon in the lower left corner that toggles the map display between showing the map as North always up, or Direction you are driving up. If you have North always up, then you can determine which direction you are driving based on which way the arrow (representing your car) is pointing.

*2014 Rogue with NAV. Your system may differ slightly.

I have never tried looking at the VID with each of the map settings to see if it differs between the two. you could try that and see if it makes a difference.
