I just wanted to ask a real quick quesiton about safety. In instaled my Tien He's myself more than a month ago, and i am confident i did everything correctly, including jack it back up later & check that nothing was lose.. but recently my springs have begun to creek very lightly when i get into or out of the car, more loudly when they take load as in cornering or brakeing.

one person told me this is 'probably' normal and 'most' coilovers make noise, i'm just worried about safety as i did the work myself.

coilovers make noise. jeff and myself went back and forth with a guy who woned an auto ans awpped to some nice coilovers, but since their metal-on-metal most of the time(no rubber spring seats, insulation, etc) they tend to make noise when going over bumps or when loaning occurs...it just happens, this guy wouldnt believe us until I moved Ron(shop owners) car up and down and made him listen to them creek a little bit...

double check everything for peice of mind...but they do make noise.

I am fine with noise, you should see my gutted hatch! i'm not fine with something i did wrong getting me or someone else injured.

Edit: Oh yeah, i never disassembled my stock coilovers for that little rubber spring ring that goes at the top.. if you can follow that description! I figured who needs rubber anywhere but on the rims.

Thank you for the re-assurance. If anyone else with HE's reads this let me know if your coils make noise too.

I have HA's and they make that noise... it's just a noise they make.

Read thru the Tein literature it's stated in the manual.
